Day 1
Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya – Safari Adventure Begins
Begin your East Africa adventure by heading directly to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. After arriving in Nairobi, you will take a flight or drive to the Mara, where you’ll check into your safari lodge or camp. Spend the afternoon on an exciting game drive through this world-renowned reserve, where you can spot the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos. Later, experience the vibrant culture of the region with a visit to a Maasai village, learning about their traditions, lifestyle, and customs. After an action-packed day, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
Day 2
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania – The Heart of Africa’s Wildlife
On the second day, head to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. After a short flight or scenic drive from Maasai Mara, you’ll check into your lodge or camp. Serengeti is known for its vast, open plains and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through the park, where you’ll encounter not only the Big Five but also countless herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. The park’s breathtaking landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable safari experience. Day 3
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
On day three, you’ll enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti before traveling towards the Ngorongoro Crater. The journey takes you through beautiful landscapes as you leave the Serengeti’s vast plains behind and head for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you can relax at your lodge near Ngorongoro and prepare for the adventure the following day.
Day 4
Ngorongoro to Arusha
After an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll witness incredible wildlife in a stunning setting, you will begin your journey back to Arusha. The Ngorongoro Crater, known as the “Garden of Eden,” is home to a diverse array of animals, and this day offers one last opportunity to capture the beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site. After the game drive, travel back to Arusha, where you will relax and enjoy a peaceful evening.
Day 5
Departure
On your final day, depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to explore Arusha or simply relax before your departure. Your memorable 5-day East Africa safari adventure comes to a close as you make your way to the airport for your return flight home.
