Arrival at Kilimanjaro & Transfer to Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to Arusha, the gateway to some of Tanzania’s best safari destinations. Spend the day relaxing and preparing for your exciting safari adventure. Enjoy the vibrant town of Arusha, known for its welcoming atmosphere and stunning views of Mount Meru. Overnight stay in Arusha, ready to begin your adventure the next day.
Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park & Overnight in Karatu
After breakfast, embark on your safari journey as you drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its impressive population of elephants and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a truly unique safari experience. Enjoy a thrilling game drive, where you’ll witness incredible wildlife, including lions, zebras, giraffes, and diverse bird species. After your adventurous day, continue to Karatu for an overnight stay in a cozy lodge, surrounded by the stunning Tanzanian landscape.
Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater Full-Day Safari
Start early for a full-day safari in the famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Known as the “Garden of Eden,” the crater is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffaloes. This breathtaking volcanic caldera provides one of the most incredible wildlife experiences in Africa. Spend the day exploring the crater floor, witnessing an abundance of animals in their natural habitat. After the game drive, return to Karatu for an overnight stay.
Day 4
Ngorongoro to Materuni Village (Coffee Tour)
After breakfast, drive from Ngorongoro to the picturesque Materuni Village, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, you’ll experience a unique cultural encounter and take part in a fascinating coffee tour. Learn about the traditional coffee-making process, from harvesting the beans to roasting them. You’ll also enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee amidst the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. After the tour, enjoy some time exploring the village before heading back to Moshi for an overnight stay.
Day 5
Moshi Town Tour & Departure
On your final day, explore Moshi Town, a charming town nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Take a leisurely stroll through the town’s bustling markets, where you can shop for local crafts and souvenirs. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy the views of Kilimanjaro up close.
